PostJoe Hart pulls out while doubt is cast on Andy Carroll

England are without first-choice keeper Joe Hart for Wednesday's friendly with France after the Manchester City player pulled out with a back injury.
Watford's Scott Loach has replaced him in the squad, but Birmingham's Ben Foster is likely to start the match. Doubt has been cast over Andy Carroll's debut after Newcastle expressed fresh concern over the 21-year-old's fitness.

Joe Hart pulls out while doubt is cast on Andy Carroll :: Comments

Shame that Hart has had to pull out but I really hope that Carroll will still be starting, I want to see how he plays with the rest of the squad.
Shocking how all the English players are suddenly injured for a friendly match isnt it.
It's not a surprise on the Carroll front, he picked up the groin "injury" at the weekend against Fulham, I suppose Newcastle don't really want that to be aggravated for their star striker!

And I honestly feel sorry for Hart, he's had the season of his career so far, and for him to pick up an injury while he's in top form is rubbish for him and rubbish for England / ManC.
I bet Hart will be back in goals on the weekend.
I wonder how he injured his groin Wink. As far as I'm aware, Andy Carroll is starting though.

Joe Hart is a trouble one, as a back injury for a goalkeeper could be detrimental, see Buffon at the moment!
